Healthcare Art Projects

Studio EL works with healthcare centers around the nation to provide comprehensive art programs for specific spaces. From patient rooms and public corridors to outdoor spaces and radiation vaults, artwork is custom tailored to enhance the environment and community.

ART = HEALING  Art evokes an emotional response. An image held in your mind can positively or adversely affect your emotional state and physiological functioning. • When the emotional response is positive and uplifting, it stimulates the release of healing endorphins into the bloodstream. This boosts the immune system, reduces the stress response, and enhances metabolic functioning, all of which are crucial components in the wellness process. • Even a few minutes of exposure to positive imagery has been proven to reduce stress and promote well-being because it is linked to the many stages of emotional healing, starting with sensory awareness and moving to self-awareness. • It is our hope and goal to translate these positive emotional and physiological responses into tangible, affordable, and healing art programs.
